Tied to your checking account, Be Wise is a safety net for those unexpected times your checking account falls below your available balance. We’ve all been there – times you may have miscalculated your balance and inadvertently debited beyond your available funds. Avoid missing those important transactions with Be Wise Overdraft Privilege. This overdraft privilege uses your available limit to cover checks and other transactions made using your checking account number even if your account lacks funds.*

Sweeps allow FNC Bank accountholders to automatically “sweep” funds from their savings account into their checking account seamlessly to avoid falling negative on the checking account. With a sweep on your account, you may avoid overdraft fees or declining transactions if your checking account should happen to fall to the negative.
Here’s how it works. Accountholders with an FNC Bank checking account and an FNC Bank savings account can set up a sweep. This allows the bank to “sweep” (transfer) funds from your savings account to cover any negative balance on your checking account up to a specified limit.*
